CRC 1182 Young Investigator Research Day (YIRD)
The CRC 1182 holds once a year a “Young Investigator Research Day” (YIRD) to give the young researchers (postdocs and PhD students) of the CRC 1182 an opportunity to present their work to scientists inside and outside the CRC 1182 and to support networking. The YIRD is organized by the young researchers of the CRC 1182 with support from the CRC 1182 office.

As a novelty in 2019, the YIRD Mentor Award was given to Prof. Arne Traulsen and Dr. Katja Dierking, in recognition of and thanks for their support of mentoring young researchers, respectively.
The second CRC1182 Young Investigator Research Day took place on June 27th 2018, at Atelierhaus im Anscharpark, Kiel.
